Look at this stuff. It’s fruits and vegetables… yuck! how did this get on my plate, anyway? considering that I am wearing my lab coat, let’s talk a little about nutrition. Cats are obligate carnivores. That indicates we were created to eat meats. If you don’t believe me, just take a look at a cat’s teeth. Sharp, right? even though we can eat other kinds of foods, a cat’s diet need to be mostly meat-based. This is awesome because meat tastes delicious!

Mommeh! Please remove this plate and bring me some MEATS!Please.

This is a lot more like it!I got some Petcurean GO! Sensitivity + shine Grain complimentary Trout & Salmon Pate. Holistic vet Dr. Dym tells us how to read pet food labels:

While there is often an substantial list of ingredients, the most crucial ingredients in the pet food are the first three ingredients, which are those present in highest amounts in the food.  given that dogs and cats are generally carnivores, I recommend that two out of the first three ingredients provided on the label be meat.

Let’s take a look at the first few ingredients in this stuff: Fresh water trout, salmon, salmon broth, herring meal, dried egg, potatoes, carrots, peas, chicken broth. That all sounds good to me! A small amount of fruits and vegetables is healthy. remember that in the wild, when cats eat their prey they also ingest the vegetable matter found in the stomach contents of the prey animal.

Let me just taste a sample. It’s YUMMY, and I especially love pate-textured food. This stuff also comes in a Chicken, Turkey & Duck Pate flavor.

Look, I cleaned my plate!

Harley likes it too. Hey, Harley save some a lot more for me!
